In-person Casual Play on Sat Dec 4!
Bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to Toys for Tots! Ken will drop off your donations off at a local Toys for Tots location.
We'll also offer a Standard format fun tourney (Sword & Shield base set and newer sets). Check-in is from 11:00 to 11:30 am. Entry fee is $5 payable to Ken. Cash and Paypal accepted. Decklist is NOT required. Open to all age divisions. Proxies are allowed, BUT they must be printed copies of the actual cards. Prizes will be recent booster packs to the top finishers (depending on the # of players entered).
Also, for the special Holiday Casual Play tourney on Dec 18, YOU decide on the format - Standard, Expanded, or a special Holiday format (red and green colored Pokemon, 40 card deck)? Vote here for the tourney format. Voting is open until Fri Dec 17, 10pm. Majority wins!

Fusion Strike Prerelease dates set!
Fusion Strike is coming soon! It's been delayed a week due to distribution delays, so we'll be running the first prerelease on Sat, Nov. 6! Ken is running this event for the Fantastic Store. Check-in is from 11:00 to 11:30 am. Event fee is $30 payable to the Fantastic Store. Pay the fee at the counter and bring a receipt to Ken to be entered. Ken will offer a second flight, if 8 or more ppl sign up for it.
The Tuskeys will host the second prerelease at the Fantastic Store on Sat, Nov 13. Check-in is from Noon to 12:30 pm. Event fee is $30 payable to the Tuskeys. They accept cash and credit cards. They will offer a second flight, if 8 or more ppl sign up for it.

August 2021
August Virtual League Tournament scheduled for Sat, Aug 28! Evolving Skies will be legal for this tourney! Register here and start playtesting using the new Evolving Skies set! League @ Home prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. We use the PTCGO platform for the tournament.
In-person event at the Fantastic Store: Sword & Shield Evolving Skies Prerelease set for Sat, August 14! The Tuskeys will run the prerelease event at the Fantastic Store starting at Noon! Cost is $30 for the first flight and $25 if you also do the second flight. So join the Tuskeys and play in a fun prerelease tournament!

In-person League at the Fantastic Store on Sat, July 10! Join us starting at 11:00 am for Pokemon League! Earn League rewards just by participating in different League activities from trading, to playing games, doing different Pokemon Club activities, and more! We'll also offer a fun Standard format tournament for all age divisions for $5 entry fee. Depending on the # of players we get, the top finishers will win booster packs of Chilling Reign. Registration is from 11 to 11:30 am. Proxies are allowed, BUT they must be printed copies of the actual cards. Hope to see you there!

Shoutout to the Chantville TC Playoff team - Brent, Justin, Joseph, and Jaime - for reaching Top 256! Sadly, they lost this round, but great effort!
In-person League returns on Sat, June 19! Join us starting at 11:00 am for the return of in-person League! Depending on attendance, we'll offer tournaments, games, and other fun activities as we celebrate the return of in-person League! Masks are required and social distancing will be maintained for the health and safety of young children and those not yet vaccinated.
In-person event at the Fantastic Store: Sword & Shield Chilling Reign Prerelease #2 set for Sat, June 12! David Tuskey will run the second prerelease event at the Fantastic Store starting at Noon! Cost is $30 for the first flight and $25 if you also do the second flight. So if you missed the first prerelease, you still have a chance to play in a fun prerelease tournament!
In-person event at the Fantastic Store: Sword & Shield Chilling Reign Prerelease set for Sat, June 5! Our first prerelease event in a long time at the Fantastic Store. We are limiting the # of attendees to the first 20 people that sign up here. We will also hold a second flight if at least 8 people sign up. Check out the official Pokemon sneak preview of this new upcoming set. And check out Ptcgradio's YouTube video of the first new English cards.

Rules:
Format: Standard: Sun & Moon-Team Up through Sword & Shield Battle Styles.
Play at least 3 rounds of swiss best of three matches (as determined by the number of participants).
All players play all rounds.
Rounds will be capped at 45 minutes. At 45 minutes, you will be asked to report the current outstanding prizes (via uploaded screenshot), and whoever has taken the most prizes will be considered the winner of that game and can report that game as a win in the round tally.
Players are responsible for enabling match timers. If your opponent initiates a game without timers enabled, decline the invitation, and send them an invite with in-game timers enabled.

Play! Pokémon Team Challenge (TC)—Summer 2021 is coming! Qualifiers will run from April 3 through June 6. Just like in the first TC, Chantville League will run 4 Qualifiers and the winner from each one will make up the Playoff team that goes into the Playoffs. If you enjoyed playing in the first TC, then watch our League event schedule for dates and times, coming soon! And you get a voice in the dates and times for these Qualifiers. Pokémon TCG Top Deck Academy: Whimsicott Shows Heavyweight Power
For March, we'll be offering two Virtual League tournaments! The first one is set for Sat, March 13. Check-in starts at 12:30 pm here or in our Discord. We'll start play at 1:00 pm. Format is Standard, best 2 of 3 matches. All players will earn a booster code just for playing! And at least the top 2 will earn additional codes. So join us for some fun and do some playtesting for upcoming Player's Cups and Team Challenges!
Our second Virtual League tournament is set for Sun, 3/21. Check-in starts at 10:30 am here or in our Discord. We'll start play at 11:00 am. Format is Standard, best 2 of 3 matches. All players will earn a booster code just for playing! And at least the top 2 will earn additional codes.
Then join us on Sun, 3/21 at 2:00 pm for our virtual League meetup. We have a very special guest - Will Jenkins! Will, the man, the myth, the legend, has been a long-time leader in the Pokemon community, competing in many international tournaments, producing quality content for various outlets, and just being an overall great person. And when we say competing, we mean winning. Most recently, Will represented one of the four US players to compete in the Top 16 of the Pokemon Players Cup 1. We'll talk strategy, the upcoming format, how to get better at the game, and more. Come hang out!
