7/10/15 News Update

HI Pokefans!

Pokemon League is ON, Sat, 7/11. starting at 2 pm. We will be holding League on the second floor of the store since it has AC. So come through the store and then up the stairs to the right.

We had a blast at Nationals last weekend and it was great to see a few of you attend as well. If you did not make Nats, you always have our fun, action-packed League to attend! :-)

We are in the midst of Fortree Gym season, so keep playing games and earning marks in your scorecards! I'm also going to start testing a new reward feature where you can earn prizes just for playing either a card game or video game battle during League. I'm working out the details and will have more info tomorrow.

We'll also continue our successful small 8-person tournaments throughout League. We'll start a new tournament every time we get 8 signups.

And for those of you who are beginners, especially Juniors, I'll also be setting up smaller 4-person tournaments so you can get experience playing. These will be free and will be unlimited format (since I know kids only have a few cards from all kinds of sets). I'll see what kind of prizes I can dig up for the beginners.

Reminder that we have a library-like loaning system. We have decks, dice, energies and playmats that you can borrow during League. Sign them out on the sign-out sheet and you can use during League. Just remember to return them before you leave! :-)
