Hello!

We are back from Worlds and ready to host the last League for August! So come on by this Sat starting at 2 pm. Since this is the last League for Mossdeep Gym, you can earn double points for each game you play during League! And yes, this includes tournaments. So you can earn promo cards and the Gym Badges faster.

We also have a bunch of World-themed goodies that will be offered as prizes in tournaments. So be sure to come early so you can sign up and have a chance to win! These include playmats, dice bags, deck boxes, and more. Here are some pics...

Entry fees for the tournaments will vary depending on the prize being offered. Details available at League.

I'll offer different formats for the tournaments based on player experience. But one of my goals is to help competitors planning to compete in the Fall Regionals, which will be Expanded Format. The different formats available include:

• Standard: XY to AOR (yes, I am adding AOR early to help players test decks)
• Expanded: BW - AOR (same here!)
• Unlimited: for Beginners and non-competitors that just want to have some fun tourneys!

For those not interested in competing in tournaments, you can still play and earn (double!) checkmarks for your League scorecard. Video and card game counts. And you get a mark in ALL your scorecards for each game you complete.

Trading is always welcome at League. BTW, check out the new Mewtwo EX coming out in the next set...

Reminders:

• Help keep the store clean. Pick up after yourselves and if you are eating food, don't leave a mess.
• You can borrow decks, dice, energies and playmats. Just sign them out and return them before you leave.
• Win a game (card or video game battle) and earn a prize!
• Sign-up for door prizes and give-aways
• Tournaments with entry fees are run at the start of League. So if you want to compete and test your deck, be sure to come early! This week's focus: Expanded Format

• New rotation for Standard format - XY-on begins 9/1
• Ancient Origins becomes tournament legal on 9/2
• PA Fall Regionals: 10/10-10/11 (Expanded Format). Details on our Calendar page.
• XY8: Evolution Break pre-release coming Oct/Nov!

Also, note that we will not have League next Sat 9/5 due to the Labor Day long weekend.
