Prerelease is here! Join us this Saturday for your chance to get the latest set - Sun & Moon Celestial Storm - before they are released in stores!

But first, we'll start things off with Pokemon League starting at 10:30 am.

At Noon, we'll start check-in for the pre-release. $30 entry fee for this event.

Pokemon League

We've got a of plethora League promos to give away, new games to play and lots of Pokemon fun on tap. As always, trading card and video game players welcome. We offer a free, open competition - the Points Challenge - where you can earn points and win Pokemon prizes. Proxies are allowed. Current contest runs through July. For more competitive players, we offer a low entry-fee tournament to help with your playtesting.

And remember all the benefits that Chantilly Pokemon League offers - a fun library with pre-made decks, free Pokemon cards and Pokemon books and comics. New players - get a free Pokemon Player ID and learn the rules of the game and how to build a deck. Trade Pokemon cards or video game characters with other players. Door prizes! Snacks and drinks available for purchase. Lots of open space for gaming, trading and playtesting.

Update for our Pokemon League for non-profits initiative...

We now have 2 events on tap!

• The first you may already be aware of - the Fantastic Classic to benefit St. Jude on Sat August 11 (pre-reg here) - a competitive tournament at the Fantastic Store where 100% of all proceeds will be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
• And now, we have the first Chantville Pokemon League that will be run at the Children's Inn at NIH located in Bethesda, MD! We are looking at either late August or early Sept timeframe. 1-2 volunteers needed including a Spanish speaker (translator). Stay tuned for more details!
