Directions: From Running Springs, travel toward Arrowbear, to Green Valley Road. Turn left onto Holcomb Valley (3N16), drive approximately 4 miles to Crab Flats Campground sign. Turn left onto Crab Flats Road (3N34) and continue to the campground.

Cost: $45.00 per person (meals are provided & included in cost – 3 meals on Saturday, 1 meal on Sunday)

Activities to include: Field Equipment Deployment, Emergency Services, Hiking, Leadership Labs, team building exercises, and Fun, Fun, Fun.

How to Apply: Notify the Cadet Logistics NCO no later than 15SEP19 (We MUST have this in order to properly plan for food & space). Late applications will NOT be accepted. Hand-carry a signed: CAPF-60, CAPF-31, CAPF-160 & money (45.00 CASH ONLY) to the squadron meeting on 18SEP19 .

What to Bring: All items in issued LC-II ALICE field pack (except sleeping bag and tent)

1. Complete uniform: BDU's or ABU’s uniform, extra uniform items (socks, t-shirts, undergarments, etc.), CAP ID card, watch (not cell phone), hat (patrol cap for travel, boonie hat for field)

2. Layering system: Jacket or fleece or thermals, appropriate beanie or fleece watch cap, gloves

3. Tent or arrangements to share with someone

4. Sleeping bag and pad

5. Personal hygiene toiletries, First aid kit, foot care kit

6. Hydration system is mandatory (Canteens and covers or Camelbak type),

7. Flashlight (headlamp or small LED type, NO maglites), 2 Glow stick,

8. Whistle, fire starting kit (machetes, lighter, fire rod, and tinder materials), bandana, 550 paracord, 100 mph (duct) tape, compass, signal mirror,

9. Pocket knife or multi-tool (NO “Rambo” knives, k-bars, machetes, tomahawks)

10. Pen/pencil and notepad

11. 24-hour pack (LBE, LBV, or day pack) and survival kit are welcome but not mandatory

12. 1 case of water, 1 bundle of firewood, bring $20 for travel money in wallet
