very strange - 15 repeaters on county channels but just 1 CDF repeater - ?????
just 2 UHF med repeaters - I wonder how much of the county they cover?

maybe some repeaters outside of Modoc County have good coverage into the county - like for CDF
USFS and BLM probably have a few repeaters in Modoc County also
The Sheriff Dept does all dispatch AFAIK - except for CDF / BLM / USFS - so maybe everything is done on 153.92R
there are no local channels for the dozen VFDs - they are too small to worry about that sort of stuff I guess - there are no local PDs nor DPWs
