Indian Village at Furnace Creek also - possibly protected by Furnace Creek FD - no large blds obvious per Google Street View

Per approx 2002 General Mgmt Plan - Cow Creek HQ is 3 miles north of Furnace Creek - most NPS staff is based there - 60 NPS housing units at Cow Creek - NPS has 3 rangers and 1 mtnce person at Stovepipe Wells - WildRose rangers assist with mtnce work - 5 NPS housing units at Scotty Castle - ? GrapeVine has approx 15 NPS housing units

Who does the Jaws work in the Park? Maybe Furnace Creek VFD and NPS Scotty Castle Eng 2?

Per Fed Interagency Comm Center 11/27/2010 - DVP Eng 2 is a Type 1 engine at Grapevine - DVP Eng 3 is a Type 3 engine at Stovepipe Wells - there is no NPS fire rigs at Furnace Creek area apparently
