Communications Merit Badge

Post date: Jan 09, 2017 1:49:46 AM

Hi Troop 378 Scouts!

Next offering for our troop merit badge classes is Communication!   The flyer is attached.  This merit badge is recommended by our troop for scouts ages 13 and up, so don't miss your chance to earn it!  Sign up at a troop meeting or by contacting Mrs. Dye directly.  If you wish to ask for an exception to the troop's recommended age policy you must speak with Scoutmaster Kawamura and merit badge counselor Mrs. Dye before signing up.

As a reminder, we ask that you take our Eagle badges with our troop's own counselors, but you never have to wait for a class to form to begin earning the badge.  Just ask Mrs. Mueller for the name and contact information for the troop counselor and you can work directly with the counselor on the badge on your own or perhaps with a buddy.  This is actually the traditional way to earn a badge.  We set up these classes for convenience and fun, but it is not the only way to earn the badges in our troop!

Also as a reminder, if there are any of the over 100 badges Boy Scouts offers that you want to earn, again speak with me and I can usually find a counselor either within our troop, or within our district or council who is a registered counselor for that badge.  And of course you know to look at the green board I set up each meeting with the merit badge opportunities I have found around town.

Don't miss your chance to earn this Eagle Required Merit Badge!
