2021 Scout Popcorn Updates

-Troop 378 is looking forward to a return to storefront and door-to-door sales in 2021.

-Troop 378 has scheduled the Troop 378's popcorn kickoff party for August 25th at 7:15pm. The popcorn kickoff party will have pizza, popcorn, trivia questions, and more Troop 378 kickoff popcorn party activities. Parents are requested to attend the kickoff to get information about the fundraiser.

Calling all scouts: Troop 378's annual popcorn fundraiser is just around the corner! After an online-only fundraiser in 2020 we are all looking forward to a return to storefront and door-to-door sales in 2021.

We have tentatively scheduled our popcorn kickoff party for August 25th at 7:15pm. We will have pizza and trivia questions and it is always a good time. Parents are requested to attend the kickoff to get information about the fundraiser. Even if your scout participated a couple years ago, there will be useful information, so please attend!

If your scout has never done fundraising before, this is a great opportunity to start. Aside from earning funds for their scouting activities, scouts who participate in the fundraiser are challenged to set goals and to improve their communication skills (especially with adults). Every year we see young scouts gain confidence through their fundraising work.

Finally, if you are able to help with party setup on 8/25 or with the popcorn fundraiser generally, please contact me at fgmonzon@sbcglobal.net. Troop 378 has a history of being the #1 Boy Scout troop in the Greater LA Area Council, but to continue this we need your help.
