PowerTest PS.3a (mostly getting in a 3rd test, interims are today), Review which questions you go right/wrong, log onto PowerSchool to check your grades, write me and your parents/guardians an e-mail and let us know how the first month of school is going...grades, socially, emotionally, what you like about 8th grade and/or SMS, what you wish you could change, etc.; Then, on your own paper, create a graphic organizer about elements, compounds, and mixtures. Include definitions, examples, and pictorial representations of each. Make sure you read the paper on the tray and incorporate that into your graphic organizer; then combine everyone's graphic organizer into one on white table top hat. Then, 60 sec. to 'present' and make your case as to why yours is the best - table with best one gets 10 points added to lowest grade.
