CPTN. William MacLaren

William MacLaren is the only child of Paul MacLaren and T'Lun MacLaren, a Romulan refugee rescued by Starfleet. As a child, He was not adept at social

circumstances and thus had few friends. His friends, however, remained so through adulthood. William, Liam to his friends, was a good student in school but did experience his difficulties.

Towards the end of his high school education, Liam aspired to research new technologies and decided to attend university to be an engineer. Unfortunately,

he was unable to attend due to family circumstances. It was surprising when Liam announced he would be joining Starfleet academy. Only Liam's

Grandfather, William, after whom he was named, had ever spent much time away from Ireland (serving as barkeep on the USS Sutherland).

Liam's personality is strong and dependable. Though not extremely social, Liam is kind and easily approachable. He is dedicated to his duties and earns the trust of everyone that he serves with. Liam is not an angry person and seems to hold no ill feelings towards anyone specific. He speaks fondly of his family, particularly his Father. Honesty is very important to Liam as is his faith
