Turkey BBQ Bacon Cheddar Sliders
1/4th of the recipe:
(2 mini sliders, sliders only-see below for bun)
237 Calories, 37g protein, 6g Fat, 4g Saturated Fat,
9g Carbs, and 588g Sodium.
Ingredients:
1 pound extra lean (99% Fat Free) ground turkey breast
1/2 c shredded low fat cheddar
6 T BBQ Sauce
6 T Reduced Fat Bacon Bits
1 Scallion chopped
In large bowl mix all ingredients.
Form into 8 mini sliders or 4 regular size burgers.
(I use my thumb to create a well in the top of the burger,
basically because Bobby Flay said to.)
Cook on the grill until cooked through.
These may also be broiled on the broiling pan in oven.
(keep the cracked open and watch them)
This makes 4 servings.

You can use any cheese you like, and also add finely
chopped herbs, peppers or cooked mushrooms.

If you want few calories and less carbs, stack both sliders on one bun,
or make regular size burgers and use one bun, or even a nice english muffin.
Lettuce & Tomato only add a tiny amount of calories, but the pickle
is high in sodium. I normally do not have a high sodium meals,
so the pickle will not kill me.
