Publishers of Contemporary Music Since 1955

Founded in 1955 by Boston composer John Bavicchi (1922-2012), BKJ Publications has specialized in bringing musicians new music at very affordable prices. In the mid-1960s we became an ASCAP publisher. Our catalog of instrumental and vocal music ranges from studies for student musicians to works for virtuoso professionals, and from solos and chamber music to concert works for symphony orchestra, band, and chorus. Our composers represent a wide variety of contemporary music. Pages with information about each artist are in the menu to the left.
