Live Edit
Windows 7 + IE8 support out of box. Simply install the plug-ins.
For IE9+, note http://doc.nuxeo.com/display/USERDOC56/Live+Edit+compatibility+table about "IE9 Compatibility" mentioned IE9+ truncate "Accept" header and prevents Live Edit to work under normal mode.
Two solutions provided and both tested and verified.
By changing Live Edit detection to "server", all clients, in spite of whether or not Live Edit plugin is installed, will have the Live Edit icons shown on the pages. That may be a nuisance but better than enabling compatible mode at IE.
Test results:
XP reports error until the follows were installed (as suggested on the page):
Ubuntu 12.04 with Firefox requires
