Undergrad Certification

All 4 year state colleges and universities in Vermont offer routes to teacher education and certification. For a list of these schools visit Teaching Degrees in Vermont. To become certified, preservice teachers must meet all the course and internship requirements and must complete a Level One Licensure Portfolio which is listed at the bottom of this page under files. It is important to remember that although the bulk of this portfolio is compiled during the year in which the undergrad participates in their teaching practicum, careful planning in the years prior to the practicum can help you be successful the first time around with your portfolio process. I have supported undergrads and grads since 2009 with successful portfolio completion.
