Some Recent K of C Activities
See more on the Events page.

The Bethalto Knights of Columbus was founded on November 2, 1958. Our council serves the Parish of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Bethalto, IL, which is a member of the Springfield diocese, our fellow Brothers in Christ, and our Nation. The chapter has over 300 members and is active in serving the Bethalto community. Recent council activities include the annual Tootsie-Roll drive to help disabled children and adults, Special Olympics held at the SIU Edwardsville track, the basketball and soccer tournaments for the youth in Bethalto, and many other activities to benefit Our Lady Queen of Peace Church and the Bethalto community.

The Bethalto Knights of Columbus Council recently sold its hall, so it now holds its meetings on the second and fourth Monday of every month at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.  We say the rosary beginning at 6:45 PM and the meeting starts immediately afterwards. There we discuss our business and enjoy the company of our brother Knights. If you are interested in serving your fellow man and joining the Knights of Columbus, we invite you to speak with one of our Knights or send us a message using the form on the Contact Us page and we will be glad to answer your questions about the K of C.

We invite you to browse our site and see the many activities the K of C are involved in - one of which just might be something you would enjoy helping with or learning more about.

Having recently sold its meeting hall, the Bethalto K of C Council no longer provides rental facilities to the public.  Click here for a list of area K of C councils that do.

Important Message from the Grand Knight

All too often our brave men and women might be overlooked and under appreciated. Our freedoms that we have are a tribute to the sacrifices that are always made by our military. Our very own Brother Knight Adam Miller is starting his new adventure in the United States Army!  The Knights are very supportive of our seminarians and our military.  We pray that God will keep him safe and continue to bless him and his family along the way. God Bless!!

December 2016 Update: Adam, now Private First Class Miller, is stationed at Fort Leavenworth in Kansas.
