The next hybrid joint BEPSII /ECV-ice General Meeting will be held on 12-14 March 2023 at Scripps Campus, La Jolla, California, U.S.  

following the Gordon Research Conference In Polar Marine Science on 5-10 March 2023 in Ventura, California. 

VENUE: Scripps Institute of Oceanography, La Jolla, California, U.S. 

TRAVELS: 

For those travelling from the GRC to Scripps:

• there is a train on Friday 10.3 at 9:38 am from Ventura, arriving in San Diego at 2:50 pm. Please meet at the hotel reception at 8:45 am to organize a taxi ride to the train station. From San Diego to La Jolla Uber/Lyft/taxi.

• there is a train on Friday 10.3 at 2:34 apm from Ventura, arriving in San Diego at 7:50 pm. Please meet at the hotel reception at 1:45 pm to organize a taxi ride to the train station. From San Diego to La Jolla Uber/Lyft/taxi.

Please, remember to book the train ticket well ahead of time. 

From Scripps to LAX or other destinations, we will organize shared rides during the meeting.

REGISTRATION: Whether you will be attending in person or remotely, please register HERE by 4th of March.

REGISTRATION FOR THE SOLAS WEBINAR: The SOLAS webinar will be embedded in the BEPSII meeting, and all BEPSII attendees need to register for the webinar HERE. 

INTRODUCE YOURSELF: Please, ALL, prepare 1-slide presentation with your name, affiliation, background, and scientific interest by 10th of March. Instructions to upload it will be sent after registration deadlines to all registered attendees.

LOGISTICS: To facilitate an effective hybrid experience, we encourage on-site attendees to bring their laptops and earphones.
