Charleston Premiere: When the Bough Breaks

May 22, 2014BWB and Palmetto Project hosted the Charleston premiere of WHEN THE BOUGH BREAKS, an eye-opening documentary on children's literacy in South Carolina. Bud Ferillo, director and producer, opened the screening, and remarks from Dr. Nancy J. McGinley, superintendent, Charleston County School District; Kim Odom, manager, John L. Dart Branch Library; and Steve Skardon, executive director, Palmetto Project, completed the evening. The event was held at The Citadel.

When the Bough Breaks is a production of the SC Education Oversight Committee and a presentation of the Children's Law Center of USC.
