DPIL Gets Library of Congress Literacy Best Practices Award

November 2014 -- Dolly Parton's Imagination Library has won a LIBRARY OF CONGRESS BEST PRACTICES AWARD for its achievement in "addressing social barriers to literacy." Along with 13 other literacy organizations, internationally, the Imagination Library was cited for its successful "use of evidence-based practice to enhance the promotion of literacy and reading."
