BWB-College of Charleston Theater Education Internship

October 1 - December 3, 2012Mt. Zion and Angel Oak Elementary Schools, Johns Island SCBWB teams up with the College of Charleston to bring Imagination Library books to life. Student interns in the Theater Education Department developed musical, acting, and arts activities to accompany book-reading and story telling at CD classes in two local elementary schools, where most students are enrolled in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library. The first book featured was Nona Strega's Harvest.
