Biography:
Born in Birmingham 19 June 1894. At enlistment with the 18th draft in June 1916, he and his brother John lived at New Lynn, both parents deceased. Belcher worked as a brickmaker at Albert Crum's NZ Brick, Tile and Pottery company. He was killed in action 30 March 1918. His brother John was called up for service in June that year.
