Bournmoor: 2018+ Works

On 1st September 2015, a planning application was received by Durham County Council (reference: DM/15/02714/OUT), the title of which was as follows:

"Outline application for approximately 400 dwellings & office development (Use Class B1) together with ancillary uses (Use Classes A1 - A4 & D1 - D2), new accesses, associated infrastructure, open space & landscaping with all matters reserved except for access."

On 18th May 2016, the application was approved. This page is a series of aerial photographs taken from March 2018 onward, by local drone operator Paul Brumby, as a way of charting these huge changes as they started to happen to the village of Bournmoor as well as Houghton Gate and the southern part of the Lambton Estate.
