MEG coordinator team

We are 'Country Coordinators' volunteering for Amnesty International UK.

Our job is to provide communication and support for UK groups “opted in” to the Middle East and Gulf (MEG) world-region.

The tasks we hope to perform:

• • Produce a periodical regional e-newsletter updating local groups working on the Middle East and Gulf with developments and actions throughout the region.

  • Sending out specific country information to local groups who have requested this information.

  • Speak at your local group meetings about human rights issues in the Middle East and Gulf region.

  • Support your activism and campaigning on the Middle East and Gulf region.

We hope to be a useful first point of contact for your group regarding your work on human rights in the Middle East.
