This document provides a list of examples of optimization standards: the kinds of things that a GM might approve of in high-op.
Broken things make the game unplayable. Optimizations bring clarity to the roles of party members.
A very poorly optimized character is mostly defined by attributes and abilities common to every possible adventurer: either a wizard or the muscle can swing a quarterstaff. Only that which is unique to your build is differentiating.Â
These are some approaches to encounters a high-optimization character might apply from 1st through 6th level.
