This page describes, in broad strokes, the political factions and relations in the world of Reverie.
Dawn is a largely water-covered planet, mostly very humid (though with exceptions), with two large continents, one smaller continent, and a megaisland, with several large islands and island chains elsewhere.
This map uses the Köppen climate classification scheme. Regional variance is present; this paints broad swaths, becoming more explicit around populated areas.
Home to the Draconic Empire, and by implication the Children of Destiny, the Aquan, and the Seeds (as well as the Ardent, Rewound, and Golems).
Its great central lake is named Solot'Mika, and its lesser lake is Solot'Loto.
To the west of Solot. Heavily augmented by the work of the Isle Dwellers. Now beginning to be uninhabitable due to smog concerns.
The tiny island to its southeast is named Vankat, which means "accident" in the Pramath tongue. It's a place of runic scars across the landscape and dead magic zones.
West of Pramath, east of Solot, in the southern hemisphere and across the equator. Traditionally thought of as the home to the Kami, although their origins are of course somewhat more esoteric. Has two massive "bay"-like inlets, and corresponding wispy, winding geography.
The western arm is very dry for similar reasons as Soysoiik, and shows signs of ancient magical damage from before the Age of the Arbiters, but the eastern arm terminates in a vast tropical expanse.
To the southeast of Malut, its sister continent. Relatively dry due to the mountain ranges and current placement. Home to the Stoic.
To the east of Solot and northwest of Malut, just north of the equator. Unimata is an important and prosperous continent, albeit wracked by tropical storms. Thought of as the original home of the Sheltered Ones, especially in explaining their love of the underground.
To the south of Solot. Almost entirely permanently frosted over and uninhabitable save for small fishing, whale-hunting, and military outposts.
To the northeast of Malut and northwest of Pramath, a small ice-ridden continent connected to the tiny northern ice cap. Considered an eerie location; folklore suggests the land is cut off from Complete energy, although this is hardly substantiated. Only it, the Rikta Archipelago, and the Heart of All Ice remain essentially uninhabited.
To the north of Pramath. A small tundra raised from the sea. A common pilgrimage site for disciples of Discovery; thought to be a place associated strongly with his ideals and power.
To the northeast of Solot. Extremely inhospitable. All who venture here quickly return for fear of their careers; the Heart is essentially nothing but ice, and holds neither strategic or arcane value.
