Beluga Ocean Casino - Jeju Hyatt Regency Hotel

This is an over sized chip and measures 44 mm in diameter. It was in use in June 2014.

Lotte Hotel & Casino Cheju

This is a H&C (RHC) mold chip and was in use in June 2014.

Cheju Oriental Casino

This is a Coin-in-Center 1,000 chip and was in use in June 2014.

Cheju Shilla - Obsolete

This is a Coin-in-Center chip with no denomination and it's unknown what it was used for. It's an older issue because of the spelling of "Cheju", currently it is spelled Jeju. The chip can be identified by six dashes along the edge between each double insert.

Paradise Group owned this casino.

Cheju KAL Casino - Obsolete

This high denomination 100,000 won chip is possibly from this casino and can be identified by a single white dash between the white inserts along the edge. Note the center coin has "Casino Paradise Cheju Korea" which means it belonged to the Paradise Group. It's an older issue because of the spelling of "Cheju".

Continental Casino K.J. Korea - Obsolete

This casino is located in Gyeoung-ju and was formerly spelled Kyoung-ju.

This is a spun Coin-in-Center chip with a plastic, incused DieCar mold. This chip was manufactured by The Burt Co. The coin is stamped "Continental K.J. Korea" with a denomination of 10,000 won. It can be identified by a red line running around the edge of the chip.

Emperor Casino - North Korea

It first opened in July 2000 and is near the border with China (it's biggest customer base) and Russia.

Golden Gate Casino - Grand Hyatt Incheon Hotel

Olympos Casino (the first casino in South Korea) was renamed Golden Gate Casino on August 1, 2005 when it opened at the Hyatt Regency Hotel near the Incheon International Airport. These chips are from their 1st issue and are the same on both sides. The 10,000 won chip (3) is current, the 1,000 & 5,000 won chips are obsolete.

New chips were found on the tables in July 2010. The 1,000 won & 5,000 won chips are 2nd issue chips. They are the same on both sides. (The 10,000 won chip remained the same.)

Kangwon Land Hotel & Casino - Obsolete

This casino opened in October 2000. I obtained these chips in April 2006 from the casino. I don't know if this is a first issue chip.

These are key ring chips. Bags to store them in were not available.

LVegas Casino - T.H.E. Hotel Jeju - Obsolete

This 1,000 chip was in use in June 2014.

Paradise Casino Jeju Grand

This 1,000 chip was in use in June 2014.

Paradise Hotel & Casino Busan (formerly spelled Pusan)

This casino first opened in November 1981 and is still open today. I obtained these chips in 2006. In 2006 there was no 1,000 won chip, the below token was being used. The manumark for the token is "RWM". The 10,000 won chip was manufactured by Bourgogne-et-Grasset, identified by "BG" at the bottom of the inlay.

Ramada Plaza Jeju Casino - Obsolete

This 1,000 chip was in use in June 2014.

Seven Luck Casino COEX Center - Obsolete

This casino first opened on January 27, 2006. This 1,000 won first issue chip was obtained from the casino in April of 2006. In June 2006 I noticed a change of chips. It is unknown how long this chip was on the tables. One thing is certain, this chip is very, very hard to find.

Seven Luck Casino COEX Center second issue chips were obtained in June of 2006. The 1,000 & 5,000 won chips are identified by a blue "C" in the middle.

Seven Luck Casino Busan Lotte (formerly spelled Pusan)

This casino opened on June 23, 2006. These chips were obtained from the casino in April 2009. The 3 chips are the same on both sides and are identified by a green "L" in the middle.

These are two 5,000,000 key ring chips and each comes with a black bag.

This key ring chip is from the Grand Opening of Seven Luck Casino Millenium Seoul Hilton and comes with a blue bag.

Walker-hill Casino - Sheraton Walker-hill Hotel

Walker Hill Casino opened in March 1968 as the second casino in South Korea.

These three 1,000 won chips were manufactured by Bourgogne-et-Grasset and are the same on both sides. The chip on the left has a dark inlay and a red color ring. The center chip has a light inlay with an orange ring. The chip on the right has three rectangular breaks in the ring around the inlay. All three chips were obtained from the tables in May 2006.

This is a recent 10,000 won chip indicated by the spelling of Gyeoung-ju. It was formerly spelled Kyoung-ju. The casino is possibly closed.
