INTRODUCTION

Hello and welcome to my personal project! My name is Harsh Agarwal and this website will be an introduction to all you need to know about my project. Throughout the course of this project, I was challenged to make the project what it is today. I learned new skills to overcome the challenges I faced and this helped me throughout the process.

The topic I chose for my project was the impact of single use plastics on the environment. This problem has become ever-growing and prevalent in the 21st century. Although just reading the topic, it may look like a small problem, but I can assure you it is not. Billions of tons of plastic is disposed each year and a majority of that figure is single-use plastics. I chose this topic because I could see what this material is doing firsthand.

The product I decided to make was an app. After looking at the numerous options, I decided to make an app. I felt this would be easier as I have an interest in computers and making an app would be relatively easy. I decided that I did not want to involve coding as it would take too much time and is not part of the project.
