We would like to inform you that the admission for new students for the upcoming academic year 2024-2025 is now open at Step One International School enabling SIS parents to profit from a special discount for the upcoming academic year if you will register a sibling in SIS. 

If you have another child you would like to enroll in SIS, kindly contact the Admission Department to schedule an appointment for the assessment test and interview.

• Seat Reservation Fee for the upcoming academic school year 24/25 is due starting from 1st of March, 2024.

Graduating students for the SY 23/24:

Parents of Year 6 students moving to preparatory stage who want any certificates for Year 7 admission such as:

• Certificate of good conduct and behavior

• Study sequence certificate

• To Whom It May Concern Certificate

• Report cards for previous years

Kindly submit a request to the Admission department and fill out the form. An amount of (50 QR per certificate) is required per document and delivery will be within three days from the application submission date.

For students from Grade 2 to Grade 5 only:

We are in the process of updating student data annually. Parents are requested to send an envelope with the student containing the following documents:

1. Parents passport copy and Qatari ID

2. Child's passport copy and Qatari ID

3. Child's birth certificate and health immunization documentation (health card, vaccination card for the students residing and the students coming from outside Qatar aligned with the national vaccination program in Qatar).

4. Child's school health file (from the health center)

5. "To Whom It May Concern" Certificate from the father’s workplace.

6. (6) Recent passport-size photographs of the child 

*The required documents must be submitted no later than Monday February 12, 2024.

• أولياء أمور طلاب الصف السادس الابتدائي المنتقلون إلى المرحلة الإعدادية ويرغبون في أي شهادات تخص الطالب للتسجيل بالصف السابع الابتدائي مثل:

•  شهادة حسن سير وسلوك

•  شهادة تسلسل دراسي 

•  شهادة لمن يهمه الأمر 

• استخراج تقارير درجات للأعوام السابقة

 يرجى تقديم طلب عند قسم التسجيل وملئ استمارة مخصصة لذلك ودفع مبلغ (خمسون ريال على كل شهادة) وسوف يتم العمل على تجهيزها خلال ثلاثة أيام من تاريخ تقديم الطلب.

إعلان هام: خاص بالطلاب من الصف الثاني الابتدائي إلى الصف الخامس الابتدائي فقط

نحن بصدد عمل التحديث السنوي لبيانات الطلاب في المدرسة. لذا يرجى من أولياء الأمور إرسال ظرف مع الطالب يحتوي على ما يلي:

1-  صورة من جواز السفر والبطاقة الشخصية القطرية (للأب والأم أو الوصي القانوني).

2-  صورة من جواز السفر والبطاقة الشخصية للطالب.

3-  صورة شهادة ميلاد الطالب والأوراق الصحية الخاصة به مثل: البطاقة الصحية، بطاقة التطعيمات للطلبة المقيمين والطلاب القادمين من خارج قطر ومطابقتها لبرنامج التطعيم الوطني في دولة قطر).

4-  الملف الصحي للطالب (من المركز الصحي التابع لمنطقة السكن).

5-  شهادة لمن يهمه الأمر من مكان عمل الأب.

6-  (6) صور فوتوغرافية حديثة للطالب بخلفية بيضاء بحجم جواز السفر  (4×6).

Regular exercise and eating right can help with your child's physical health, but what can we do to make sure they are just as fit mentally? We want our children to have good mental health.

Here are some tips to boost your child's mental well-being:

1.Spend time together

Making time for your child will make them feel that they are important to you. Have fun while doing activities together like watching a movie or playing games etc.

  2.Be attentive to what they say

Give your child your full attention and listen to them.

3.Be generous with praise

Praise your child whenever they have done a good deed no matter how small. This helps them feel good about themselves.

تعزيز الصحة العقلية لطفلك (الجزء الأول)

يمكن أن تساعد ممارسة التمارين الرياضية بانتظام وتناول الطعام بشكل صحيح في الحفاظ على الصحة البدنية لطفلك ، ولكن ما الذي يمكننا فعله للتأكد من أنه يتمتع بصحة عقلية ونفسية جيدة؟ 

فيما يلي بعض النصائح لتعزيز الصحة العقلية لطفلك:

1- قضاء الوقت مع طفلك

إن تخصيص الوقت لطفلك سيجعله يشعر أنه مهم بالنسبة لك. استمتع أثناء القيام بأنشطة مختلفة معه مثل مشاهدة فيلم أو ممارسة الألعاب وما إلى ذلك.

2- كن منتبهاً لما يقوله طفلك

امنح طفلك اهتمامك الكامل واستمع إليه حينما يتحدث وشاركه الحديث.

3- كن كريما في الثناء على طفلك

امدح طفلك كلما قام بعمل صالح مهما كان صغيراً. هذا يساعده على الشعور بالرضا عن نفسه.
