THE RUNDOWN

May 6, 2022

Announcements

The iPad that was issued to you for school use this year must be returned before graduation can occur. Specific procedural details of how that process will unfold will be distributed closer to the end of the semester.

In the meantime, we wanted to mention an opportunity that we are offering to senior families concerning the iPad. Instead of returning the iPad to our leasing company, we are offering families the ability to purchase their student’s iPad.

For $35, a family may choose to purchase their student’s iPad. This cost will include the iPad, charger, case, and satchel. Once purchased, no warranty or support will be provided by St. Catherine’s.

These iPads will be erased to remove any school restrictions or data. If a student has any files that they wish to keep beyond the end of the school year, it is recommended that they store them to a personal service that they will be able to access after they are no longer a student and their email is deactivated this summer. For example, a personal email address, Google Drive, or Dropbox.

If you wish to purchase your student iPad, use your credit card or have your parent complete payment via this online form before 2:00 PM on Friday, May 27, 2022. No exceptions will be made to this deadline. All purchases must be done via credit card and via the online form. In other words, we can't take a check or cash. Credit card only.

Students who purchase their iPads will not need to return them at the end of the year. The iPads will be remotely wiped to remove any school management or restrictions.

ONLY SENIORS may purchase their iPad - there will not be an opportunity for other families to purchase an iPad this year.

If you have any questions, please contact Tony Commodore.
