Young Chuck Haines decides to test out his printing press by running off leaflets reading, "Do you think you're insane...? See Dr. Haines." Somehow these get circulated, and to the Haines household comes a totally bizarre collection of characters! To make matters worse, a case of measles causes a quarantine of everyone in the house - and on prom night! But everything works out, and some romances even flourish!
Yearbook, Senior Pics
Now is the time to plan for senior pictures, if you have not already done so! Traditionally, these photos are taken early in senior year, so that by January 15, everyone has chosen proofs and your final selection has been submitted to the yearbook. For our yearbook, one color wallet-size print or digital file (approx. 2” wide x 3” high or larger) is needed by JANUARY 15, 2023. Your photographer should send these to dmielcarek@sienacatholicschools.org, or you can bring the photo in yourself. OR… You (or the photographer) also may submit a digital picture on a flash drive, or email it (as an attachment). Make sure digital pictures are high-resolution, at least 300 dpi.
'Tis the Season For Caring...
Students are encouraged to bring in their gently used uniforms and SCHS Spirit Wear to Campus Ministry to help our families in need!
Please reach out to Mrs. Dahlgren with any questions.

Pics of the Week
In this week's "Pics of the Week" you'll see a number of photos from Señora Allesee's Spanish III and Spanish IV classes on their field trip to the United Community Center in Milwaukee. During the trip, they learned more about Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead), which is November 1 and 2, and is similar to the celebrations of All Saints and All Souls Day. The tradition of Día de Los Muertos has been celebrated for thousands of years in Hispanic cultures. It is believed that during the two-day span, the souls of the dead are able to come back to earth and visit their loved ones. In turn, families create ofrendas or altars, usually of varying levels, with food, water, salt, marigolds, sugar skulls, and images or belongings of their loved ones so they feel welcomed when their soul visits.
Angels of the Week
If you have a classmate, teacher, or staff member that you feel has gone above and beyond to "Rise Up" and model the St. Catherine's Mission, displays high academic standards, shows an increased level of accountability in themselves and others, or made you feel a part of the greater SCHS community, please fill out this form. Winners are announced and awarded a prize at the weekly prayer service or Mass.
