Principal Notes

Dear Angels Community,

It is playoff time!  Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team and their amazing season and effort in the first round of playoffs.  Tonight is the first round of games for football.  Everyone needs a ticket, even students.  Go Angels! 

A reminder that the school doors open at 7 am.  It is getting colder, so please ensure your child is dressed for the weather if they are coming early.  In addition, the inside can be a little up and down as the weather is transitioning in temperature as well. Students must wear an outer layer of SC as their dress code.  SCHS jackets can be worn.  No other coats or hoodies can be worn. Please talk to your child. 

Thank you to Mrs. Dahlgren for a wonderful senior retreat this past week.  Next week, our freshman will go on their retreat.  This past week, Fr. Richter also offered reconciliation for students. 

Halloween is on Friday.  Students are allowed to wear APPROPRIATE costumes: no blood / gore, NO masks, NO weapons ...

Grade level retreats provide significant benefits for high school students. Retreats emphasize spiritual growth and personal development, preparing students to become good, moral, and ethical individuals. Through the 4 Dominican Pillars of Community, Prayer, Study, and Service/Mission we deepen our personal relationship with God. They are much more than just a fun day away from school, they help us reflect on our lives and push us to be better people. We are all looking forward to the retreats this year and hope they are a good experience for all. 

Our Freshmen retreat is Thursday, October 31, 2025. 

Please complete the retreat permission slips in PowerSchool - Parent Portal. OR, you may contact the main office also.

New Registration Platform: ArbiterSports

 St. Catherine's High School is now using ArbiterSports for all athletic registrations, as required by the WIAA. All student-athletes must be registered on this platform to be eligible for participation.

Please note that we are no longer using the rSchoolToday platform. If your student was previously registered on rSchool, they must still complete a new registration on ArbiterSports.

Physicals and Payment Details:

Updated Physicals: A current physical is mandatory for athletic participation. If your student's last physical was completed before April 1, 2024, they will need a new physical to be cleared.

Payment Information: Our online payment option is up and running.
