Justice & Peace

Justice and Peace held a murder trial based on the book, The Lord of the Flies. Through this project, students learned about the dignity of human life, solidarity, how a lack of accountability by civil and The New Law could affect the social structure of society, and how bias could affect perception and judgment both socially and within our judicial system.

Retreats/Day With A Purpose

St. Catherine’s High School has a long-standing tradition of taking time to build community within our class by doing yearly retreats focused on the Dominican Pillars of study, prayer, service (ministry), and community. Another beloved tradition we have here at St. Catherine’s is our focus on caring for others in our community by going out of the school building and volunteering. This day of service is called A Day With A Purpose. Please remember that this is a mandatory event for all students. Seniors must attend if they plan on walking at graduation.

More information can be found here.

WANT TO GO? EMAIL MRS. DAHLGREN FOR THE REGISTRATION LINK! There will be a $50 deposit and agreement to help fundraise the rest of the $400 for the event (please do not let cost be a reason to not go, we will fundraise together). We will be going with Mr. Eric and a small group from St. Lucy’s parish.

SCHS Medicine Policy

These are the rules set forth by the Archdiocese for students and prescription or Over-The-Counter (OTC) medicines at school.

Students should never have either on their person or in their possession at school. We have a locked medicine cabinet in the office to keep them in.

Prescriptions: When you are given a prescription that needs to be taken during school hours, (either daily or for a short period of time) you must bring an original bottle with pharmacy instructions, to be locked in the cabinet until you need it. The only exception is inhalers, they can be carried by the student.

Over-The-Counter Meds: If Ibuprofen, Acetaminophen (Tylenol), Allergy pills etc.are needed, please bring in your own bottle (in the original packaging) and we will put it in the cabinet with your child’s name on it and administer it as needed.

We will daily mark what medication and time you took it, to be kept on file.

Family Reminders, Handbooks, Etc.

Confiscated Clothing Policy

As of November 1, 2023 a new policy has gone into effect . It is called the "Confiscated Clothing Policy."  Because so many students are continuing to violate the St Catherine's Dress code, a parent will now have to come to the Main Office and pick up any article of clothing that gets confiscated.

As a reminder:

Students NEED to have thier Yondr Pouch EVERY DAY.

Yes, even if you do NOT have a cell phone you still need it!

Think of it as your ticket into school ...

The 5th offense is a 1-day In-School Suspension and the 6th is a 1-day Out-of-School Suspension!

SCHS Swag

In need of school uniforms? Want a few options to choose from? Please click on either picture to the left to be taken directly to our online uniform store.

The uniform policy can be found on the Parents Tab > Resources & Forms Page on the SCHS website, saintcats.org. Please note that all uniform shirts must have one of the two offered logos through Express Press. Shirts ordered through Lands End in previous school years are still acceptable for the SCHS uniform policy.

By offering shirts through Express Press, we are giving parents options. With Express Press, you will see two logos to pick from as well as new colors. SCHS spirit wear shirts are approved as part of the uniform policy.

If you have any questions about the online store, please contact the St. Catherine's main office at (262) 632-2785, ext. 401 or 409.

Have you grabbed your SCHS Spirit Wear yet? Are you representing the Angel's Black and Gold 24/7? If you answered "NO" to either of these questions make sure to click on the graphic to the left to get your SCHS Spirit Wear!!
