Office hours are times when academic staff are available to meet with all students that they teach in order to talk through any queries or concerns about your course of study. Where staff have a specified time for their office hours (for example, Wednesday 12.00 noon - 1pm), you can just turn up to their office to see them at that time. Where staff office hours are 'by appointment', you should email them to arrange a mutually convenient time.
If a regularly scheduled office hour clashes with your timetabled teaching, please contact the member of staff and ask if they have any other availability. Please do not arrange appointments outside regularly scheduled office hours for any other reason than a timetable clash.

Please take care to be polite and respectful when you email academic and administrative staff. If you want to make a complaint or raise an urgent matter, you are most likely to be effective if you communicate in a calm and courteous fashion.
All offices are located on Level C of The Wave and are behind swipe access so your Ucard is required.
