Student Conduct
The University of Sheffield and the School of Journalism, Media and Communication expect all students to abide by the Student Code of Conduct, treating other members of the University community, both staff and students, with respect and dignity at all times.
Here are the basics that will be expected of you and will help prepare you for your working life and career:
Check your Sheffield email daily
Behave and communicate professionally and courteously with both staff and students
Attend all your learning & teaching sessions and do the preparation in advance
If you’re not sure about something, check the resources available or get in touch.
If you have any concerns about your academic studies contact your Module Leader or Personal Tutor.
If you experience any form of harassment, bullying, sexual violence, or abuse, please ensure you report it as soon as you can to the Report and Support team, who will ensure you get the support you need. Additionally, there is the opportunity to report anonymously.
You should use the Consent Collective resources to help individuals in our community talk about consent, gender, sexual harassment, and relationships.
