This is a very recent project which uses the circuit shown on the previous Solar Charger page.
I put this circuit together using components connected to wires but I have also built this project in the past by developing a PCB.
The finished product gives a lovely flashing light effect (using flashing LED’s) when charged through the day situated on a window sill.
You could also used multi-coloured, colour changing or flickering LED’s to produce different effects as desired – you may wish to experiment with these…..
