SHABAKA TRAINING was established in 2008 with the purpose of offering English language courses. We have created a successful program at King Faisal University within the Preparatory Year Deanship (PYD) and taught more than 10,000 students since its inception.
Shabaka Training is owned by Mr. Mohammed Al Saadoun and his brother Dr. Saadoun Al Saadoun is the Academic Consultant. They are very down to earth and honest people. They have an office and residence very near our compound. They own several other businesses as well as the training establishment including: a travel agency, trucking company, contracting company, hospital, grocery store, and an oil recycling operation. Dr. Saadoun sits on the Shura Council in Riyadh similar to a Canadian or British Member of Parliament.
Shabaka owns and operates an English Language Institute in the Al-Ahsa community and there might be opportunities for teachers to pick up extra evening and weekend teaching.
Shabaka started out as a small company, but has grown quite a lot in the past few years. We treat all of our teachers and staff with dignity and respect. The human relationship is first and foremost. Nevertheless, we expect the highest professionalism when it comes to representing us and delivering effective lessons to your students.
FYI
Shabaka Training offers a 10 month contract.
Shabaka brings all of its teachers in on Resident Permits (Iqamas), which can be a lengthy and complicated process depending on your country of origin. We have many people here that can assist with this process and give you advice.
The Saudi government is encouraging all private companies to hire Saudi nationals. Thus, they’ve begun to limit the number of Resident Permits (Iqamas) available to foreigners.
Shabaka Training has rarely been late with payroll for the teachers. When it has, it’s usually been a banking issue.
Shabaka Training arranges and pays for your visa and flight, and has agents to assist you with the process.
Shabaka does not use any 3rd party recruiting services. We advertise our positions, interview the teachers personally, and make prompt hiring decisions (within 7 days).
