Sewanhaka Basketball Season

Basketball is a top sport for the students and teachers of Sewanhaka High School. an exciting atmosphere surrounded with cheers and excitement, truly a staple for Sewanhaka High School. Sewanhaka Basketball this season is off to an amazing start. With an impressive overall record, Sewanhaka has blown past other competition within their league this year, taking tremendous wins over tough opponents, led by stars such as Jordan Tucker, coming off a buzzer-beater shot to ensure a victory in one of their recent games. Rayyan Faisal, a senior at Sewanhaka High School as well as the manager of the men’s varsity basketball team, says “there’s only one mission.” He truly emphasizes the fact that these wins are all part of one common final goal, winning the championship, a goal for any team, especially ones that have been performing as well as them. Fawad Zafar, a sophomore at SHS, states “ amazing to see our school going to wonderful places.” Fawad here truly expresses his gratitude by showing how this recent tremendous season by the men’s varsity basketball team is truly a delight for the Sewanhaka Community. Overall, the team is a huge talent, and we are proud of the amazing season they had!
