Becky Hammon in the NBA?

“I am beginning the process of seeking buyers for the Suns and Mercury,” Sarver said in a statement. The decision came after Sarver was fined $10,000,000 and handed a one-year suspension by the NBA last week after an investigation into allegations of racism and misogyny during his time as the Suns owner. He frequently used anti-Black racial slurs in the presence and in reference to employees and players in the workplace. He has also said misogynistic comments to the women in his workplace as well. The misconduct of powerful men within the workplace is nothing new. He is just another name to add to the list of sports figures abusing their power and treating their fellow employees wrong. When will it end? The Phoenix Suns and the Phoenix Mercury were both phenomenal teams last year for their respected leagues so for something like this to happen is really bad for both sides. During the NBA Investigation on Sarver, they spoke to over 300 employees and looked over 80,000 documents, emails, and text messages. There is a similarity to just about every single one of these cases…most people in power have done inexcusable things without expecting any repercussions. I am glad this is happening and hopefully we are taking a step in the right direction. This Robert Sarver case is very disappointing and it shouldn’t have happened.
