Almost everyone’s at home for quarantine but this does not stop God’s people from reaching the world. In one of the countries in Southeast Asia, a group of students and staff of Campus Crusade for Christ conducted a “virtual prayer walk” to pray for the campus in their target area. They met through an online conference application and used an online satellite map. The leader guided them where to go first and waited for everyone to reach that place. Once everyone was “there”, they shared their prayer concerns and interceded together. Then the prayer leader pointed where to go next and they prayed more. They also prayed for all Christians to continue being engaged in evangelism and discipleship even at this time.
One of the students shared that “nothing can stop us in meeting together. Fellowships can be built even if separated by distance. This motivates us to grow in prayer.” Grateful for the resources that God has given, they learn to be creative and good stewards in using these tools God has entrusted them.
This pandemic may be a global crisis but let us come together in prayer and do something for God’s glory.
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
