Almost everyone’s at home for quarantine but this does not stop us from reaching the world. In our ministry, we conducted a “virtual prayer walk” to pray for the campus in our target area. We met through an online conference application and used an online satellite map. I guided them where to go first and waited for everyone to reach that place. Once everyone was “there”, we shared our prayer concerns and interceded together. Then I pointed where to go next and we prayed more. We also prayed that all Christians will continue to be engaged in evangelism and discipleship even at this time.
One of our students shared that “nothing can stop us in meeting together. Fellowships can be built even if separated by distance. This motivates us to grow in prayer.” Grateful for the resources that God has given, we learn to be creative and good stewards in using these tools God has entrusted us.
This pandemic may be a global crisis but let us come together in prayer and do something for God’s glory.
They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Acts 2:42
