The intent of the project was to provide a semi open community space for people to occupy while they dine, have their leisure time, pass by, and rest. The design was generated in a way that the shops on the site are provided with shed, and a flexible structure where the people can sit and have their leisure time or dine or park their vehicles anywhere they want to and experience the space in a more provoking and welcoming manner.
This multifunctional space combines dining, convenience, leisure, parking and even overnight accommodations, all while embracing the concept of verticality and utilizing the rooftop to its full potential.
Offering something for everyone around the clock.
Site
There are three shops and 2 residential entries which creates a L-shaped corner. There is one grocery store, one chinese food store and a chicken shop. There is also a vada pav stall on the right side of the residential entry.Â
Observation Drawings
People park their two-wheelers in front of the shops as well as the vada pav stall, buy some food from the eateries and sit on their bikes to have the food while talking and chit-chatting.
Some people also pass by buying groceries from the store and enter and exit the residential area .
In the morning, trucks arrive at the shops to load and unload fresh stalk.

Initially started with creating a semi-open structure, with parking space and seating. Then developed to a flowy structure where people can sit, eat, walk, park, and roam around wherever they want to. Then started working with different levels including the existing roof of the shops.
Syntax
The roof of the shops is extended and then modulated at different levels resulting in a multi-level space designed to cater to various needs and activities. The roof unfolds itself in different angles and touches the ground forming a furniture which becomes a connecting space. Its unique architecture features distinct levels at different heights, creating a dynamic and functional environment.
The language of the irregular roof is used to create the base and the seating of the structure

Assigned thickness to each surface, where it indicates certain activities like seating. While walking through the structure, the structure itself guides you through different spaces for different activities.
