Swanand Lawhale
The location of the site is where the Eksar road intersects with the Basti (Settlement) and the playground entrance.
The location has a Vachnalaya (Library), a sidewalk, meat shops, and a junction that serves as a hub for both those visiting the shops and those coming from the Basti.
The site is chaotic due to people's diverse activities; little children from the Basti participate in the site, and occasionally senior people do as well.
Additionally, the walkway doubles as a garbage dump throughout the day and is cleaned at night.
Additionally, it contains public facilities including a bus stop and a Vachnalaya

Syntax
The syntax or the language used to design this structure is the language of frame, frames transforming into various components, giving a sense of enclosure, and creating a play of light and shadows.
To fit the context, the frame's shape is further changed from rectangular to pitched. (As the Basti near the site have similar kind of roofing systems.)
The frames further develop into a sitting area, a reading area (Vachnalaya), and a cycle stand.

Model
Though the roof of the structure is opted from its surrounding context, there is a shift in the ridge of the structure to avoid it from being static.
