Resources and Tutoring
The best resource for success in your classes is always your teacher. Please take the time to speak with them about your concerns in class, or to determine which option may best fit your needs.
Peer Tutoring, Study Hall, and other Resources
CCA Peer Tutoring has begun! Peer Tutors are a group of motivated and dedicated students that want to help CCA by offering free, non-committal, and friendly academic support/tutoring service for anyone that needs it. Sign up on the CCA Peer Tutoring page if you are interested in tutoring at any time. Tutors are available to connect in a variety of ways (virtual or in-person). Please feel free to reach out to your counselor if you are having trouble getting connected with a peer tutor through their website.
CCA PALs can help! Fill out a request to see a PAL and mention academic support.
Math Tutoring for all levels is being held from 7:15-8:15 in B205 every Tuesday and Thursday and 3:30-4:30 in E204 every Tuesday and Thursday. Students, please drop in to get support from Mr. Fisher or Mr. Carrillo for additional help.
CCA Study Hall is in the Learning Commons after school Monday-Thursday from 3:15 - 5:00 PM. Students do NOT need to sign up, just show up! Each day, a teacher will be present.
Looking for help in your World Language class? The CCA World Language department offers a rotating schedule of Help Desk Hours. Students are welcome to seek support from any teacher in the subject area in which they have questions, whether it is their teacher or not.
For extra academic support, additional resources are also available:
