Role of the School Counselor (ASCA)
The Essential Role of High School Counselors (ASCA)
The Counseling Office is in the Student Services Building located in the center of campus and counselors are available from 8:15-3:45.
Have a quick question? Counselors are available for students on a walk-in basis before school, during lunch, and after school. Walk-ins are open to students only and counselors are unable to set up parent appointments at that time.
Want to make an appointment? Students can fill out a slip with the counseling secretary or send their counselor an email and counselors will send a call slip to the student's class. If a particular time, day, or period is best for you, please let your counselor know.
Urgent social-emotional emergency? Students can come directly to counseling if they are in immediate crisis.
Parent wanting to set up a meeting with their student and counselors? Counselors are available to meet with parents by appointment only. Please email your student's counselor to set something up. Except in extenuating circumstances, we require students to be present at meetings..
Students are assigned to counselors based on the first letters of their last name.
