The mission of SDUHSD's counselors is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. We are committed to helping provide a safe and supportive environment in which all students can acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become life-long learners and responsible, productive individuals.
We follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Model for a comprehensive counseling program.
The CCA Counseling Department is currently closed for graduation activities and summer break. Email and voicemail messages will not be monitored during this time.
Students will have access to view their 2025-2026 courses on Aeries at Raven Days in early August and may come in person to address necessary schedule changes per the District policies outlined on the Course Selection Contract. Schedule changes cannot be addressed via phone or email.
If you are requesting transcripts, please visit the Registrar's page on the CCA website for instructions.
If you are submitting an Off-Campus Course Permission Request Form, please send it to summer.school@sduhsd.net. More information about Off-Campus Courses is available on the CCA Counseling website.
Information about work permits can be found on the SDUHSD District Website.

CCA continues to be committed to the health, safety, and well-being of students, staff, and parents. In an effort to continuously support this commitment, we have partnered with Care Solace, an online resource with a live 24/7 concierge line. This free service supports families in finding local mental health-related programs and counseling services.
For any additional questions, you may contact the school's main office during summer hours at 858-350-0253. Have a wonderful summer!
