The mission of SDUHSD's counselors is to provide a comprehensive counseling program that addresses the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. We are committed to helping provide a safe and supportive environment in which all students can acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to become life-long learners and responsible, productive individuals.
We follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Model for a comprehensive counseling program.
Counselors are looking forward to working with students this fall for academic, college/career, and social/emotional needs!
The counseling office will be participating in Raven Days from Thursday, July 30th - Monday, August 3rd. More information, including grade-specific dates and session times, can be found at the CCA Raven Days Website.
2026-2027 Schedules: Students will have access to view their Course Requests via Aeries beginning Wednesday, July 29th, after 4:00 pm. This is only a draft of the final schedule - teacher, period, and term assignments are subject to change prior to the first day of school and requests cannot be accommodated for teacher, period, or term preferences. Please note schedule changes cannot be addressed via email and after Raven Days, the next opportunity to address requests will be the add/drop period. The master schedule was built based on students' spring course requests and changes will be very limited at this time.
Seniors: Counselors are excited to work with you on the college application process this year! We will offer college support through presentations, individual appointments, letters of recommendation, application support labs, and more. Stay tuned for more information on services as we approach the start of the school year!
Transcripts and Diplomas: Please contact the CCA Registrar, Ms. Van Winkle, if you need to obtain a transcript or have completed an off campus course and have questions about transcripts: https://cc.sduhsd.net/Key-Info/Registrars-Office-Home/index.html.
