Nick Costa

About:

Nick Costa, aka MY MYND, is a musician from San Diego, California where he has been playing since the age of 10 years old.  He attended the University of California, Santa Cruz where he received a B.A. in Economics and earned a Jazz Minor in guitar.  Nick received his Master's in Music from San Diego State University in 2013 and joined the band, The Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, winner of the Best Blues Album in 2015 and Best Recording in 2017 at the San Diego Music Awards.  Nick eventually went solo creating his original studio project, MY MYND where he has released numerous recordings for streaming online.  MY MYND incorporates elements of indie pop music and dance.  Nick Costa currently teaches beginner and intermediate guitar at the SDCCD Continuing Ed. Emeritus and continues to perform all over Southern California.
