Please note that the tutorials below refer to previous semesters. These will be updated soon! In the meantime, please note that you will NOT be using your 10-digit student number to register. You will be using your student email address as your username. Your password will remain the same. See our tutorial for the new login process for additional help with this: Single Sign On and Multifactor Authentication
If you do not know your student email address, you will need to send a picture ID before office staff is allowed to share your student email address. You can do this easily by visiting our CE Mesa campus in person at 7350 Armstrong Place, San Diego. You can also fill out a help request here if you are comfortable sending a copy of your ID electronically: General Student Help - Student Support Desk - Jira Service Management
To start enrolling, you can search for Emeritus classes here: Spring 2026 Schedule
When enrolling, some classes may fill up. In these cases, you will be offered the option of joining a wait list. Look for the yellow triangle with "Wait list" next to it. You then need to click in the box to put yourself on the waitlist. Then continue in the process. You can find more detailed instructions about waitlists below.
If you were on a waitlist, you may be sent a permission code (also referred to as an access code) when the semester begins. At this point, you can enroll using this permission code. Below is a document outlining the steps to do this.
Some Frequently Asked Questions:
When do you I need a permission/access code?
When you want to move from the waitlist into your course, your instructor can send you a permission code to do so. Also, you will need a permission code once the semester has started.
Where do I get my permission/access code?
Please email your instructor and request your personal permission code for the desired course. These codes are unique to each class number (also known as a CRN or course record number) and to each student, so you will need to let your instructor know what class number you would like the permission code for.
Where do I find my teachers email address?
You can find your instructors’ emails in the class notes here or here. Usually, an SDCCD professor’s email consists of the first letter of their first name and 7 letters of their last name plus @sdccd.edu.
