Abstract

This study evaluates the extent of how SDCA students experienced the professed attributes of SDCA graduates, as encapsulated in the so-called “life formula”—RM2USIC4, which stands for research product development, multi-cultural advocacy, moral and spiritual accountability, understanding the discipline, self-directed learning, information and technology literacy, communication skills, creativity and innovation, collaboration and community engagement, and critical thinking. To address this purpose, the descriptive, survey design was used with convenience sampling of six hundred twenty (620) students presently studying at St. Dominic College of Asia. The result of the study shows that the students of SDCA, with the exception of their rating in critical thinking, rated their experiences of the life formula ranging from “often” to “always” in the qualitative interpretation of percentage results. Furthermore, there are indicators and/or attributes that are consistently receiving high scores such as moral and spiritual accountability and self-directed learning. Meanwhile, there are also those attributes with low rating such as collaboration and community extension services and information and communication literacy.
