POW visited
Mike Douglas visited our Grade 5/6/7 students this past week to talk about climate change, following our passion, and what we can do to ensure we create the future we want for our environment.
Student Inspired learning
Students in Mrs. Roths class are learning the finer points of building powerpoint presentations from a mom and son duo. Cooper and his mom built a powerpoint presentation on "building powerpoint presentations" to guide the students in preparing them for their next learning opportunity. The class began studying marine life and are now taking what they have learned to creating powerful presentations on their marine animal.
Staff/Student Volleyball
last week Mrs. Ledingham wrapped up the boys volleyball with a game against the staff. Although the staff were victorious, we were very impressed with the teamwork and skill displayed by these grade 6/7 boys.
We Day 2018
This year 29 of our students attended We Day on Nov 22nd. They joined 18,000 students from around the province in Rodgers arena to get inspired to create social change both globally and locally. We are excited to see the change these students bring to our world.
