Mathematics is one of the four core courses you need to fulfill in order to graduate from High School. You need to take 3 years of math, a total of 12 classes. Please note that available courses vary at different adult school locations.
If you attended a high school in Utah, in another state, or outside of the United States, be sure to bring those transcripts to review which courses you can get credits for. Some math courses that are taken to prepare you for the required courses or any can credits over the requirement be applied to your elective credits area. Concurrent Enrollment and Advanced Placement Courses are usually offered at a regular high school, not at an adult school. Concurrent Enrollment Courses are offered by colleges/universities. Students earn credits towards their high school diploma requirements and get credits in college or university at the same time. Advanced Placement Courses are college-level courses and students can earn college credits by passing the Advanced Placement test. Please note different Universities require different scores.
