SWBAT:
1...review properties of VECTOR GRAPHIC images
2...use the ADD ANCHOR POINT TOOL to add points to line segments.
3...use the DIRECT SELECTION TOOL to select and edit individual points and line segments
4...use LEARNING from this lesson to ADD original DETAILS to the DRAWING

1. Go to the Tool Box and look for the Pen Tool
2. Click and hold on it to reveal the Add Anchor Point Tool (See Below)
3. Use the Add Anchor Point Tool to add points to your tree trunk line segments Vector Graphic images are made up of points and line segments
The Add Anchor Point Tool looks like a pen with a plus sign next to it. Use it to add points to line segments.

1. Select the Direct Select Tool (The White Arrow)
The Direct Selection Tool looks like a white arrow. Use it to select and edit individual points and line segments.
2. Make sure the tree is deselected and then click very carefully on a line segment of the tree trunk. (zoom in if you need to).
3. Look to see if the points are all white. If they aren't, deselect and try again.
You know you are ready to use the Direct Selection tool when the selected points are white.
You will not be able to use the Direct Selection Tool if the selected points are a solid color. To make them white you must deselect and then click directly on the line segment.
4. Click very carefully on one of the white points and click and drag to reposition it.
5. Continue editing the points on the tree until you have changed all the branches and the trunk

1. Draw a tall rectangle
2. Click very carefully on one of the line segments (zoom in if you need to)
3. Look to see if the points are all white. If they aren't, deselect and try again
4. Click very carefully on one of the white points and click and drag to reposition it to match the path drawing underneath.
5. Continue by repositioning all of the points on your path until they match up with all of the points of the path drawing underneath
